The 4rivers name honours the four rivers of the Alabama watershed that define this land — the Black Warrior, the Cahaba, the Coosa, and the Tallapoosa. They are rivers of history, community, and endurance. Values that flow through everything we smoke, slice, and serve.

4 rivers began as a weekend pop-up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama — a single offset smoker, a folding table, and a menu with three items. Lines formed around the block within weeks.
Permanent Home Opens
We secured our flagship location at 1650 Jack Warner Pkwy, Tuscaloosa. The 4 rivers smokehouse became a brick-and-mortar destination serving lunch and dinner six days a week.
Catering Division Launched
Demand for 4 rivers BBQ at events led to the launch of our dedicated catering service. We now bring the smokehouse to weddings, corporate events, and community festivals across the state.
